Job Summary:

Are you ready to break boundaries in the data world and work with innovative clients? 
As a Senior Data Engineer, you are ready to drive thought leadership and astound the world of data through your skills. You love to continuously research and learn new technologies like Snowflake, DBT, Airbyte and Airflow, or Terraform. 

You will be a member of an Agile data engineering Pod consisting of open-minded and highly skilled individuals, that designs and continuously delivers a wide range of data analytics services for both clients and business partners. 

You are looking to change the world and advance Data Engineering in a data-driven world through automated data solutions in the Snowflake Data Cloud and other public clouds. We do that through dedicated time to our internal practice.

We are currently looking for full-time contractors in Latin America for long-term engagements.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers to solve complex problems within their data warehouse.
  • Analyze clients' existing cloud-based and on-premises database environments and their data providers to optimize for secure data extraction.
  • Design, present, and deliver best-practice data warehouse solutions, data pipelines, and transformations in Snowflake.
  • Design and implement data-sharing solutions for single-tenant and multi-tenant cloud database systems. 
  • Mentor and support data engineers to keep the growth of their technical capabilities.
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies to improve data engineering capabilities and our customer solutions.



What You’ll Bring:

  • Passion for data and engineering excellence
  • Experience building solutions based on formal (traditional, modern) and less formal data architectures, methodologies, designs and processes 
  • Senior hands-on experience building data solutions using a variety of traditional and big data technologies
  • Intermediate hands-on experience building data solutions in AWS, Azure and/or GCP
  • Software engineering experience

  • Streaming Data Ingestion and Analytics (Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka)
  • English and/or French
