Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Master Data Management Specialist to join our team. This role combines technical expertise, strategic consulting, and hands-on tool implementation to help clients establish trusted, governed, and high-quality master data foundations. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through enterprise-wide Master Data Management
initiatives and ensuring alignment with data governance, data quality, and compliance objectives. This role combines deep technical expertise in MDM tools with a strategic understanding of data governance frameworks to drive trusted, high-quality master data across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of overall data management experience, including 5+ years leading MDM initiatives, and proven success with platforms such as Informatica MDM, Ataccama ONE, Semarchy xDM, Reltio, or SAP MDG.
What you’ll get to do:
● Partner with client stakeholders to assess the current data landscape and define the MDM strategy
● Provide strategic guidance on MDM operating models
● Develop roadmaps and implementation plans for sustainable MDM maturity
● Configure and deploy tools such as Informatica MDM, Ataccama ONE, Semarchy xDM or Reltio
● Design and implement matching/merging logic, survivorship rules, and data quality processes
● Define and monitor key data quality KPIs and dashboards for continuous improvement
● Lead end-to-end tool evaluation, PoC, and deployment for MDM platforms
● Integrate MDM solutions with data governance tools for end-to-end visibility of the master data lifecycle
● Deliver client enablement sessions and training on tool usage and best practices.
● Configure governance workflows, business glossaries, and stewardship dashboards
● Partner with data engineering teams to ensure MDM feeds are embedded in ETL/ELT and API pipelines
What you’ll bring:
● Proven experience in designing and implementing Master Data Management tools
● Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence senior-level stakeholders
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex client challenges and propose effective, scalable solutions
● Familiarity with data regulations and industry compliance standards
● Certification on Master Data Management tool/s is highly desirable
● Certifications such as CIMP (Certified Information Management Professional), CDS (Certified Data Steward) , and CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) are highly desirable
● Ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently while maintaining high quality of work
● A strong understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and the ability to apply them in real-world, cross-functional environments
● A collaborative and consultative mindset, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, build trust, and guide them through governance adoption
● A problem-solving attitude, proactively identifying data risks or gaps, and working creatively to implement practical, scalable solutions
● A commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date on new technologies, and governance trends to keep your practices modern and effective
Additional Assets:
● Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
● Fluency in French
