Description
About Infostrux:
Infostrux is one of North America’s fastest-growing data-focused consultancies. Within 18 months of our founding in 2021, Snowflake recognized us at the highest partnership tier—a reflection of our deep expertise and impact.
We help organizations unlock the value of their data by building modern, cloud-native platforms that power analytics, AI, and machine learning. Our work spans the modern data stack—covering data engineering, architecture, integration, and modelling—with Snowflake as one of our core partners.
From startups to Fortune 500s across industries like finance, health, gaming, and retail, we design and deliver scalable data solutions that enable faster, smarter, data-driven decisions. And as proud recipients of the Great Place to Work® Certification (2025), we are equally committed to fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and growth for our people.
Community Commitment:
Infostrux is committed to growing and supporting a diverse community of talented professionals. As part of that commitment, Infostrux has developed a scholarship and mentorship program for post-secondary students residing permanently in Canada who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour.
Our program offers a hands-on learning experience in data science, engineering, and computer science. It includes Snowflake courses and exam vouchers so that students can obtain their SnowPro Core certification. In addition, students have the opportunity to shadow our engineering team and collaborate with data professionals through a hands-on internship. This is a 3-month program with a flexible schedule, allowing students to gain practical experience while studying.
The program includes:
- Access to a Snowflake course and practice sets via Udemy’s e-learning platform
- Two Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification Exam vouchers
- A 10-hour unpaid internship with Infostrux’s Engineering Team
- Mentorship from one of Infostrux’s Engineering Managers
Eligibility criteria:
- Canadian and/or permanent resident
- Identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (preference will be given to visible minorities)
- Currently enrolled in school in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar program with excellent grades in relevant courses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic data management and data science concepts
- Strong desire to become a data professional and to gain practical experience with a data cloud platform such as Snowflake
Program Calendar:
This submission is a general expression of interest for future cohorts. Our winter cohort usually runs between January and April, while the summer cohort runs between May and August. Once dates for the next cohort are confirmed, we will notify you of the exact program schedule. Note that this is a program with self-paced learning and flexible hours, therefore students can complete the program while studying full-time.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of representatives from our organization. The committee will evaluate each application based on the eligibility requirements.
