Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Technical Delivery Manager to join our Delivery team. In this role, you will be the trusted delivery partner for our clients, guiding complex cloud and data engineering projects from inception to successful completion. Your focus will be on orchestrating delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and forward momentum while upholding Infostrux’s engineering and delivery standards. Your ability to lead, communicate, and influence at all levels will ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and with exceptional technical and business outcomes.
What you’ll get to do:
- Lead Technical Project Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for cloud and data engineering projects, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, and dependencies are proactively managed.
- Act as a Trusted Delivery Partner: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into clear delivery plans and ensure alignment throughout the engagement.
- Financial Ownership: Manage project financials including burn rate, forecasting, and budget adherence within time and materials (T&M) engagements.
- Client Engagement & Communication: Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, provide transparent status updates, run project cadences, and communicate risks, recommendations, and decisions clearly.
- Technical Coordination: Partner with technical leads to ensure solutions align with architectural standards and modern cloud/data engineering best practices.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation plans, escalate appropriately, and maintain strong delivery governance.
- Governance & Delivery Excellence: Maintain RAID logs, delivery documentation, and consistent reporting using Infostrux delivery frameworks.
- Team Collaboration: Support cross-functional collaboration, advocate for delivery best practices, and contribute to continuous improvements in our delivery methodology.
- Pre-Sales Support (Nice to Have): Provide input on scoping, estimations, and proposals when needed to support smooth transitions between pre-sales and delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- 5 to 10 years of experience managing technical delivery of cloud or data engineering projects.
- Proven success delivering in a professional services environment, with deep understanding of time-and-materials project models.
- A technical background such as cloud, data, software engineering, or architecture, with the ability to speak confidently with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, SOW expectations, and delivery financials with accuracy and transparency.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve issues quickly, and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Experience managing multiple engagements concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- A collaborative, client-focused mindset with the ability to build trust, support teams, and guide customers through successful delivery journeys.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on modern cloud, data, and delivery practices.
Additional Assets:
- Exposure to pre-sales, solutioning, or proposal development
- Experience presenting project summaries or readouts to executive-level stakeholders
- Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, dbt, or other modern cloud data technologies
- Certifications related to project delivery or cloud platforms (PMP, CSM, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
What we work with:
- Data platforms such as Snowflake
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Modern data engineering patterns and DevOps/Infra-as-Code delivery approaches
- Infostrux delivery frameworks, standards, and operational processes
- Common delivery tools including Jira, Confluence, Lucid, and client-facing reporting frameworks
